Udemy or Educative, which platform is better for self-training?

Remember myself struggling to go to the university and listen the old-school classes, totally far from the state-of-the-art technology. I even didn’t get any education about Artificial Intelligence, which is my main interest and expertise domain, rather I was learning how to design a CPU using some bit-wise operations…

The facts that you can’t really choose the whole roadmap for yourself, being obligated to waste your time about the courses that are planned out of your control and the the obligation to sit in a class room and listen for 2 hours was totally opposite for my personality, also to the way I am capable to learn.

I have always been a self-training person and luckily, I was born in the Internet era. I have created my career mostly following some nice content from internet, having online classes and working on some projects to have hands-on experience.

Now I am working as an Applied Researcher in Computer Vision, love my job and like to produce useful content for other self-learners in the world.

Today I want to talk about 2 different platforms, both my favorites for learning online: Udemy and Educative.

Their goal is quite similar, how do they do it differs.
